As a self taught craftsman, I have been designing and building furniture and cabinetry for more than thirty years. After receiving a degree in drafting and design I worked as a journeyman in various wood and furniture related fields. In the early eighties I hung out a business sign in downtown Oxford, Mississippi and remained there for twenty years. In 2003 I moved into a new larger studio here on the farm where I live and continue my work. My shop manager, Mike Briscoe, a master craftsman in his own right, has very skillfully helped manage our many projects for more than a decade.

Although my work has been featured in a few local and national publications and I'm fortunate to have a small handful of international celebrities on my client list, I never forget that it's "regular folks" like myself who comprise the vast majority of my commissions and make my livelihood possible. I will always strive to keep my pricing very affordable to all who seek my help. The trust my clients put in me is responsibility I take quite seriously and the many great friendships that have resulted from past commissions is something I set a very high value on.
